Matthew Ozark

Matthew Ozark is a Junior in high school in Chicago who also studies electrical engineering at the College of Dupage.

Matthew has a passion for engineering and has designed personal electric transportation and fabrication equipment. Matthew also runs a local youth climate advocacy initiative aimed at motivating young people to seek solutions to climate change.

After leading a fundraiser for medical equipment in Bangladesh, Matthew is currently working on solar power installations for schools in Zambia through The Unforgotten.

Matthew eventually hopes to attend university in the San Francisco bay area to further study electrical engineering and assist in volunteering and climate advocacy.

Andrea Keum

Andrea Keum (Grant Writer)

Ms. Andrea Keum has over eight years of professional experience in writing, marketing, and communications.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and Policy with a concentration in Environmental Science from the University of Arizona and an English Literature degree from the University of Virginia.

She spent two years as an Agroforestry Extension Agent for the Peace Corps in Senegal, West Africa, planting fruit trees to stop desertification.

Currently, she works as a freelance grant writer while raising her four children in Alexandria, Virginia.

Carolyn Ross

Carolyn Ross previously worked in Disaster and Volunteer Management at the American Red Cross, where she responded to disasters both domestically and internationally, including serving as the Financial Distribution Manager in Alberta, Canada in 2016. Additionally, she serves on the Board of the United Nations Association USA – San Diego and serves as their Director of Social Media and Communications. Carolyn has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a minor in Spanish from Indiana University, is an accredited Associate Emergency Manager through the International Association of Emergency Managers, and holds a Certificate in Volunteer Management from the University of New Mexico. Carolyn is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Peace and Justice at the University of San Diego.


Sarika Kapadia
Sarika Kapadia

Sarika Kapadia (Volunteer Medical Coordinator)

Sarika Kapadia is a volunteer who resides in Maryland, where she is currently a Senior at Centennial High School.

Sarika wishes to help teenagers and women in developing countries. She is currently working to raise funds for a sonogram machine in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. To support her GoFundMe campaign directly, please visit this link.

Sarika wants to become a doctor and work overseas as a humanitarian field worker.

Sahara Kapadia resides in Maryland and will be a Freshman at Centennial High school. She is planning to become a pediatrician and work in humanitarian relief. Dave Butler

Dave Butler joined the Unforgotten in January 2019 and will be utilizing his professional skills as a geologist, project manager, and water expert to support the capital projects undertaken by The Unforgotten Fund.

Mr. Butler has over twenty years of professional experience in environmental consulting and project management having functioned as a Geologist, Physical Scientist, and Environmental Strategist. He presently works for a private consulting firm in Colorado.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies with a minor in Geology and Water Resources from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
