In January 2019, we initiated fifteen new WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene) projects in Bangladesh for the Rohingya refugees. We have been working at the UN Refugee Camp in Cox’s Bazar where over a million refugees have sought refuge. Because of the urgency of the crises, we have had to move quickly. We are pleased to report that we are already nearing completion of these projects. Two of our board members (Aaisha and Vedrana) will be traveling in the second week of September to ensure that all works have been completed. Amit had traveled in March at the initiation of these WASH projects. Many thanks to our teams and partners for completing so many projects in such a short period of time!
